CREATE THIS PC SHOTRCUT ON TASKBAR – WINDOWS 11

Right Click on Desktop > Point to New > Click on Shortcut

Following windows will appear

Type the following string in Location box

Explorer.exe shell:::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}

Type the name of the Shortcut. I am going to type This PC and click Finish

Right Click on Newly created shortcut. Like in the image below and click on Properties

Click on Change Icon

Click on Browse on the newly opened windows

And browse to the following path / file

C:\Windows\System32\imageres.dll and click OK > Click OK

New shortcut is created on Desktop

Right click on the new created shortcut and in the menu click on Show More Options

Click on Pin to taskbar.

That’s it, you will now have This PC icon shortcut on the Taskbar of Windows 11 desktop.
