IT support for Norwest businesses, from your Hills District neighbours
Syntrex Technologies is based in Norwest, the Norwest Business Park itself. We provide managed IT, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, cloud, networking and computer repairs to businesses in Norwest — onsite when you need someone in the room, remote when that's the simpler fix.
Your IT team is already in the business park
Norwest Business Park is one of the largest commercial precincts in north-west Sydney, home to corporate head offices, medical suites, technology firms and a long list of smaller professional practices spread around the lake and along Norwest Boulevard. It is also where Syntrex Technologies is based, so for businesses here we are a neighbour rather than a supplier from across town.
Tenants in the park tend to share the same building realities: comms rooms and risers controlled by building management, landlord-supplied cabling of varying quality, fit-outs that change as leases turn over, and staff who split their week between the office and home. We plan networks, Microsoft 365 and security with those constraints in mind.
The Metro station on Norwest Boulevard has made the park easier to reach for staff from across the north-west, and many offices here now run hybrid rosters, so secure remote access matters as much as the desks in the building.
How support works when we share a postcode
Most requests never need a visit. A locked account, a mailbox rule gone wrong or a laptop that won't connect from home is handled by our helpdesk over a secure, logged remote session, Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
When the fix is physical, such as a failed switch in the comms cupboard, a new starter's workstation or the fit-out of a newly leased suite, a technician comes to you. For Norwest addresses we'll confirm a time with you, and the technician comes from our own base in the park.
Clients on a managed plan also have monitoring, patching and backup verification running quietly in the background, which means plenty of problems are dealt with before the office notices anything.

IT support in Norwest — common questions
Is your office actually in Norwest?
Yes. Syntrex Technologies is based in Norwest, so businesses in the park and the surrounding streets are the closest clients we have. Day-to-day issues are still fixed remotely where that works, but when a technician is needed onsite they come from our own base in the park rather than from the other side of Sydney.
Can you help when building management controls our comms room?
Yes. We coordinate with building management for access to shared comms rooms, risers and landlord cabling, arranging access before the visit. We document what we change and leave your equipment clearly labelled, so the next fit-out or tenancy change is simpler for everyone involved.
How do onsite visits work in Norwest?
Onsite visits in Norwest are scheduled with you, and we'll confirm a time that suits your office, with urgent outages for managed clients prioritised. Most requests don't need a visit at all: our helpdesk can connect remotely during business hours, Monday to Friday, and resolve software, email and account issues over a secure session.
Can you set up IT for a new suite we're moving into?
Yes. We can plan the network, Wi-Fi, phones and workstations before move-in day, check the cabling the landlord provides, and move existing equipment across with as little downtime as possible. Office moves are exactly the kind of work we do in person rather than remotely.
Do you offer managed plans or pay-as-you-go support?
Both. Managed IT plans are priced per user or per device, with the scope written down so you know what is included. If you'd rather pay per job, we also work on a break/fix basis, which can suit businesses that only need occasional help with a laptop or printer.
